Canditto is founded by Babson MBA student and here is the short description about their business from Canditto.com website:
Canditto is a patent-pending kiosk that collects the photos your guests have taken at your wedding, party, or reception. It produces a USB flash drive of all the guests pictures by the end of the night.
Canditto units are rented to clients. The $450 rental fee* includes everything: round trip shipping, your keepsake memory cards, and all the support you might ever want.

This is a good business model where user generated content (in this case friends and family that came to the event) is put in the hands of (literally in their hands via a thumb drive) the host. The business has a feel of customer interacting and touching the hardware and enjoying the pictures digitally. Few important points about the business:
- instant gratification
- novel and still old style
- creative use of user generated content
- good word of mouth or referral marketing potential
This is a niche that we thought about before but did not quite work out how the delivery and interaction of the device (Kiosk). Rush from Canditto definitely has great plans and he has already talking about non-wedding events and we wish him well.
